Most of these restaurants and bars are just a quick walk or subway ride from our Financial District hotel, so you can skip the tennis shoes and experience the best of Lower Manhattan’s world famous dining scene in signature style.

Gramercy Tavern – Between its seasonal menus and two distinct dining experiences, it’s easy to see why Gramercy Tavern is one of NYC’s most beloved restaurants. Choose the Tavern for a casual, walk-in experience that offers an à la carte menu as well as a four-course tasting menu for dinner. If classic fine dining is more your style, reserve a table at the Dining Room for fixed-price and tasting menus developed by Chef Michael Anthony.

Eataly – Designed to bring high quality food from Italy to Lower Manhattan, Eataly is a one stop shop for all things delicious. Fragrant breads, enticing cheeses, and decadent desserts abound, along with inspiring housewares, beauty products and more. Of course, food is the main ingredient here and you’ll find plenty to choose from, whether you prefer to pick up some goodies to bring back to your room or grab a table and enjoy a meal right there.

Grimaldi's Pizza - Located just over the Brooklyn Bridge (or should we say, right under it) Grimaldi’s is a New York institution. Discover what pizza is supposed to taste like by sampling one of the restaurant’s signature coal-fired, brick oven pies. This is what authentic NYC pizza is all about. Grimaldi’s also has additional locations in Queens, Woodbridge, Coney Island, Garden City, and the Limelight Marketplace in Manhattan.

CUT by Wolfgang Puck – Located just minutes away inside the Four Seasons New York Downtown, celebrated chef and restauranteur Wolfgang Puck has finally opened his very first eatery in NYC. Famous for its prime steaks, innovative starters, and chic atmosphere, CUT is ready to take the New York City dining scene by storm.

Shake Shack – This trendy burger joint has won the hearts of devotees around the country due to its 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers, creamy frozen custard and other delectable snacks that prove fast food doesn’t have to mean low quality. You can find two of these popular burger joints near our Financial District hotel – one at Asphalt Green Battery Park Campus and the other inside the Fulton Street Center Train Station.

Malt House – Craft beer fans will find their home away from home at this authentically cool Financial District bar. With an extensive list of domestic craft beers on tap and dozens more by the bottle & tin, the hardest part will be deciding what to order first. 

Broadstone – A favorite among locals in the Financial District, this friendly neighborhood kitchen and bar knows how to craft the perfect cocktail. Stop by in the afternoon for a power lunch and head back in the evening for the great beer selection and equally impressive people watching from oversized windows on the second and third floors.

Dead Rabbit – This local speakeasy has been named one of the best bars in the world and it’s easy to see why. Unique craft beers and international whiskies are paired perfectly with taproom favorites like oysters, stews, and pies. Head upstairs to the Parlor and try one of the bar’s 72 historically-accurate cocktails, all derived from recipes dating back to the 19th century.
